CROATIA

Croatia is a country of unusual beauty, located in the South-Central Europe. Croatia is a train of long well-groomed beaches, wonderful, fantastical mountain scenery, rocky lumps, rolled in turquoise sea-water, many centuries-old castles, standing in the hills, impassable, thick forests, vast fields, thermal springs etc.

It is an ideal place for people seeking for seclusion, for new impressions and positive emotions. Despite its relative youth, tourism in Croatia is the age-old tradition. Back in the nineteenth century the "neighbours" of Croatia (Hungarians and Austrians) have begun to actively develop tourist line, realizing that the local climate, splendid nature; the purest sea is the best combination for rest.

The tourism, per se, in the modern sense of the word in Croatia began to develop rapidly while the construction of railways began. This was already in the 19th century. For example, the very first hotel in Croatia was built in 1840. It happened in the town of Opatija. Subsequently, traditions established at this resort, were key to the success of tourism in Croatia. In other words, history itself had planned that Croatia became a country of tourism. This relatively young European resort from year to year becomes increasingly popular among European citizens. It is universally recognized that Croatia has the purest sea in Europe. For Europeans the Croatian Adriatic Sea is the closest and the warmest sea, and without a doubt, the most attractive. In addition, it is unusually pure. Here and there the water can be clear up to 50 meters depth. It is a paradise for divers, a splendid alternative to the world-famous Red Sea.

Every year in Croatia come divers from all Europe to dive in the waters and see fairy underwater world. Ger rid of the urban bustle and gray days and come to rest in Croatia. Lots of new impressions are waiting for you!
